About the Role

CNC Machinists are specially trained to programoperate and maintain Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines.

These are widely used in the advanced manufacturing industry to transform metal castings into a working, machined parts.

CNC Machinists:

  • Read and interpret blueprints 
  • Set up and operate machine tools for drilling, milling and grinding 
  • Monitor production and quality 
  • Use hand and power tools and measurement instruments
